The Genius of Visual Frameworks
Frameworks contain the views of many. They encourage the speaking of truth creating power in visual ways. Ways simply more powerful than other approaches to problem solving or value creation. They are also the best means of alignment and arbitration when attempting to accurately figure out business issues or simplifying complex propositions.
The idea of frameworks are a powerful alternative - to those meandering meetings and brainstorms that currently don’t get us quite there. These are logic frameworks - proven techniques designed to get at the underlying truth of strategic thinking, transformation development and value creation.
Structured Visual Thinking™ (our philosophy) and 4D™ (the application) is a unique approach. It is comprehensive, leaving nothing out and leaving nothing in that is superfluous to any mission. Bringing power and performance to business strategy, transformation and change programs by developing physical and visual 'logic' frameworks.
This is a crucial weapon for business success and advantage in the 21st Century. These 'architectures' and 'maps to the future' are key to decision making. The first phases are collaboratively engineered by the key stakeholders developing high integrity 'real time' outcomes enabling true decision quality.
Alignment & Context
The 4D™ Frameworks are created during live sessions and are the key intervention part of the approach.
In the image below are the 4 frameworks of 4D™. They are applied as required to:
- Discover what we could do
- Develop what we should do
- Decide what we will do and
- Deploy what we agreed to do
All of these are applied in response to any given Exam Question. These frameworks are applied in co-creative, collaborative and facilitated sessions that take place over a series of days.
They are built within 60 feet x 10 feet white wall spaces. All of the insight and value generated is captured both visually within the logic models and verbally within other forms of capture - as required. All of this work is then analysed and synthesised into further themes and architectures to enable Decision Quality

Deep Engagement
As a result of direct interventions in 4D™ Deep Dives can then occur. These are typically on major topics such as customer, operational and leadership excellence.
Once we have identified a specific area of opportunity or weakness in the Development Stage (D2) there are then more detailed deeper frameworks around specific topics. This enables the teams to spend quality time and effort on the crucial details associated with these themes. The frameworks have been designed to focus on the critical aspects of the topic. By using Structured Visual Thinking™ in the same way on these modules we maintain a consistency with the team and all the time remain within the same context as the governing frameworks of 4D™.
Live & Real Time Deliverable
A team gets together to solve a critical problem and we build the answers together in accelerated sessions
Logical questioning coupled with deep listening ensures that we cover a wide context quickly. This means we thoroughly asses the opportunity before any conclusions are reached. The logical nature of the conversations forces the teams to surface their own thoughts in a significantly improved way and removes any semantics or subjectivity.
Digitized Outcomes
From the 'live and real time deliverable' above we build high quality 'presentation ready' deliverables that can be used in a variety of applications
The sessions themselves are rapid development events. They take a matter of days and are at a grand scale. Those assembled achieve great value but often there is the need to replicate the experience or make the outcomes available more widely. We have developed a powerful studio resource, software and digital techniques to recreate the frameworks in DIGITAL form. This allows for multi-media distribution of any kind.

Sessions are co-creative and collaborative events during which we help clients to THINK, align and develop new value.
The sessions themselves are collaborative, high energy and critical events. They are deliberately developed to force clear thinking, alignment, creativity, innovation and value at every level. because these are well proven in over 2500 cases we can introduce ideas, best practices, scenario's and other knowledge to move the team way down the path to transformation or performance. The approach is proven and repeated by countless clients and in many different applications

Rigorous Governance & Operational Frameworks
From every session comes the principles and criteria for decision making. This will inevitably require significant attention to new standards and ways of operating. This can include everything from organizational redesign to principles and values for operating - on into mechanisms of accountability, responsibility and guidance.
Deliverable & Practical
Workbooks/Executive Summaries are key outcomes at certain stages of the 4D™ Process.
At every step there is the need to consolidate the work done. This may take the form of a working draft of the text and the visual framework modules. Or it could be a comprehensive status report on the whole context. This is typically agreed as a part of the assignment. We keep comprehensive archives of the work done and this will be available and augmented throughout the entire program.
Interactive & Meaningful
Interactive Presentations emerge and are infinite in their variety and application. These can be internal and external communication devices.
There is no question that today's world is a multi-channel, multi-media and multi-dimensional one. This means we need to exploit all the senses and means we have at our disposal to excite and differentiate at every level. Interactive systems are ideal tools for engagement, education/learning, presentation and collaboration.
Accessibility & Simplification
Applications are a powerful way to engage and collaborate or simply communicate the strategy or transformation.
The 21st Century has changed the way we access information and convey complex information. We are now using these techniques to enable devices to be the way in which strategy, transformation and change is achieved.
Navigation & Recognition
Symbols/Objects that are created in the original sessions are digitized so that they can be used within proposals or communications of all types.
A very effective way to 'index' parts of the larger frameworks with simplified sections within documents. These 'digital symbols' are originally created within sessions and have very powerful role in engaging and simplifying the way audiences consume the content.
Thinking Spaces
Creating Room Sets and spaces and places where we can present or recreate the scale and immersive nature of the 'Thinking' we have done together.
This involves set design, rigging the technology for presentation. Sound, video - plasma and other technology's, rehearsing the teams and ensuring that the innovation and creativity delivers the correct atmosphere and value.
Documented & Relevant
Proposals support means working the results of the assignments into meaningful documentation
This is all about ensuring that everyone engaged in the delivery of the message is aligned to the frameworks, the themes and the devices we have now embedded in the physical materials.
